The 2026 webinar series for the partner churches of Cultivating a Legacy of Living Faith kicks off in June! Our June webinar, More Than Welcome: Neurodiversity and Belonging in the Church, is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, 1:00 - 2:30pm ET via Zoom. This webinar will explore what neurodiversity means, why it matters for the church, and how your congregation—especially those serving in children's ministry—can better understand and support neurodiverse individuals and families in your community.
Partner church liaisons are expected to attend and are encouraged to invite staff members, volunteers, children's ministry leaders, and more to join us. Registration is required.
About Our Presenter
Rev. Nikki Carroll Hardeman serves as the Director of Advocacy for Women in Ministry at Baptist Women in Ministry (BWIM). She holds a Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Arts from Mercer University and has served in a variety of ministry settings, including local church ministry, denominational leadership, teaching, retreat leadership, and interim pastoral work.
In addition to her ministry experience, Nikki brings lived experience to conversations about neurodivergence. Living with ADHD since childhood, she has spent years learning how to navigate and thrive in a world not always designed for neurodivergent ways of being. Through ongoing reading, listening, and learning, she has developed a thoughtful, experience-based perspective on supporting neurodivergent individuals and helping communities become more welcoming and accessible.
Nikki is passionate about helping churches better understand and support neurodivergent people, creating spaces where individuals can bring their full selves and fully participate in the life of the faith community.
